Paul Darr is an IT Manager and Libertarian Party activist from San Antonio, Texas. He has been the Vice-Chair of the Libertarian National Committee since February 2, 2025, filling the vacancy left by the resignation of Mark Rutherford.
Biography
Darr is currently the Vice-Chair of the LNC and LPTexas. Darr is also the Chair of the Bexar County Libertarian Party. Darr previously served as the President of Silver Oaks Home Owners Association (2020 to 2022) in an unincorporated portion of Bexar County where he represented over 5,000 residents. Darr previously lived in San Bernardino California where he served as an At-Large Representative of the Libertarian Party of California from 2011 to 2012 before deploying to Afghanistan with the US Army. Darr also served as chair of the San Bernardino County Libertarian Party from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that Darr served as an At-Large Officer of the San Bernardino County Libertarian Party from 2007 to 2009. Darr also deployed with the US Army to Iraq 2005 to 2006. Darr has been an affiliated Libertarian since 1998 and first joined the National Party in 2006.
Darr was elected Vice-Chair at a meeting of the Libertarian National Committee following the resignation of Mark Rutherford.
