Hi everyone, I'm Lisa Gansky, Secretary of the Libertarian Party of Florida & Chair of the Memorial subcommittee. Today, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to our committee members: Lisa Schlinkert and Nick Gausling, our diligent researchers; Feena Bonoan, our video expert & candidate for Senate; and Suzanne Gilmore, our unofficial official CiviCRM wizard. Their dedication and expertise helped us to honor the memories of our fellow Libertarian activists, ensuring their legacies continue to inspire. We've lost a lot of great people the past couple years.
A special thanks also goes to Caryn-Ann Harlos, who entrusted me with leading this amazing team and helped me recruit our rock star members. She is truly an inspiration and one of the hardest workers in the Libertarian Party. Thank you all to all who reached out to help us memorialize those we've recently lost. We couldn't have done it without you. As we reflect on the lives and legacies of libertarians from many walks of life, it's important we remember that, despite our diverse backgrounds, the paths we take, or the caucuses we support, we are united in our commitment to liberty. I encourage everyone to visit LPedia.org to explore and contribute to the extended biographies of these individuals. Our parent committee, the Historical Preservation Committee, is dedicated to preserving and celebrating our rich Libertarian history, and LPedia is a vital part of this effort. Finally, I’d like to mention several individuals we couldn't include in our video but who are equally deserving of our recognition today: Nelson Barnhouse from Georgia, Jason Echevarria from Florida, Emerson Ellett of New Jersey, Tiffany Madison of Texas, and Darryl Bonner of Pennsylvania. Thank you. |
