The First Annual State Convention of the Free Libertarian Party was the first state convention, held March 30—April 1, 1973 at the Williams Club in Manhattan, New York.
Murray N. Rothbard was among the attendees, and it was reported that there were about 95 in attendance.
Background
The Libertarian Party of New York was first organized on April 22, 1972 when they held their first meeting. Over the course of 1972 and early 1973, the affiliate prepared to organize an official party and elect officers. Planning for the first convention began in early 1973.
