Westchester-Putnam Libertarian Party is a local affiliate of the Libertarian Party of New York.
History
The original Westchester-Putnam Libertarian Party was formed in 1979 and existed in the early 1980s. Mark Schonfeld served as Chair from 1981 to 1982.
In 2016, an organization in Westchester County was formed. In 2021, an organization in Putnam County was formed.
The Westchester-Putnam affiliate was revived in 2025 when the unaffilaite members of the Westchester County Libertarian Party and members of the affiliated Putnam County Libertarian Party met to form a multi-county affiliate. The meetings are held monthly, switching each county.
