	Murray Newton Rothbard (March 2, 1926 â€“ January 7, 1995) was an American economist, historian and natural law theorist belonging to the Austrian School of Economics who helped define modern libertarianism and anarcho-capitalism. He was son of David and Rae Rothbard. On January 16, 1963, he was married to JoAnn Schumacher in New York City.
