Murray Rothbard ([[1926]]-[[1995]]) was an american economist belonging to [[Austrian School|Austrian School of Economics ]], who, among other things, renewed [[anarcho-capitalism]].
Rothbard was not only an economic theorist, but an economic historian of considerable stature.  He is one of the few economic authors who have studied and presented the pre-[[Adam Smith|Smithian]] economic schools, such as the [[scholastics]] and the [[physiocrats]].
