-Trent Somes, III (Theodore Arthur Somes, III, born 24 April 1998) is one of the youngest Libertarian Party leaders in the US. Somes started Westmoreland County Libertarians in 2015 under the direction of the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania at age 17.
-Somes garnered media attention when WCL was mentioned in a press release from the Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania[1][2][3].
-Westmoreland County currently has over 1,300 registered Libertarian voters[2].
-At the 2016 Libertarian Party of Pennsylvania Convention, Somes along with several other young people, founded the Libertarian Youth Caucus. Somes appeared in Youth Caucus videos which helped candidates with resources regarding youth outreach.
