Elizabeth Stump
Elizabeth "Betz" Stump was Northern Area Coordinator of the Libertarian Party of California 2022-2023. She is best known for her expertise in Public Relations. Earlier in her life, she was a Republican, reluctantly - hating their social platform, with the idea that with economic freedom, social freedom was more easily attainable compared to vise versa.

After hearing Ron Paul and Gary Johnson in 2011 and 2012, she joined the Libertarian Party in 2012 and changed her voter registration to Libertarian a few years later. The treatment of the GOP toward Gary Johnson and Ron Paul in 2011 and 2012 is what cemented her move to abandon the Republican Party, as she became convinced they were just as corrupt as the Democrats. Ron Paul remains the libertarian thinker she is most influenced by.
She was a delegate seated with the delegation of the Libertarian Party of California at the 2022 National Convention.
The issues she is most passionate about are: Gun Rights, Ending the Fed in order to end the IRS, reduction and elimination of the surveillance state, Freedom of Speech, ending cronyism, and returning to "Rule of Law", not "Rule of Men".
