Mary Gingell was Libertarian Party national Vice-Chair from 1983 to 1985 and from 1989 to 1991, and national Chair from 1991 to 1993 and has been a delegate to numerous national conventions.
Gingell was Chair of the Libertarian Party of California from 1981 to 1983. She was a Libertarian Party candidate for California state Controller in 1982[1]. She finished fifth of five candidates receiving 121,964 votes for 1.6% of the total vote[2].
