The Libertarian Advocates of New York ("LANY") is a proposed restructuring of the Libertarian Party of New York's Free Libertarian Party, Inc. corporate structure. Since the Libertarian Party of New York obtained ballot access in 2018, a new set of rules was created and the Libertarian Party of New York Interim State Committee was established to lead the political entity.
On July 7, 2019, the remaining corporate structure of the Free Libertarian Party Inc. chose the name "Libertarian Advocates of New York" for which to transition the corporate entity. The corporate entity's bylaws are under review, and all changes will be proposed for the membership to decide which direction to take. A dissolution option is also under consideration. A special convention is set for November 9-10, 2019, in which a decision will be made by the membership.
