Charles Byrd (died January 11, 2025) was an American Libertarian activist and a lifelong resident of Modesto, California. He graduated from Fred C. Beyer High School and attended Modesto Junior College for three years.
Byrd was an At-Large Member of the Executive Committee of the Libertarian Party of California and served as Chair Pro Tem of the Stanislaus County Libertarian Party affiliate. His activism spanned over three decades, during which he engaged in activities such as stuffing envelopes, gathering petition signatures, waving signs, and canvassing precincts on foot.
Professionally, Byrd worked as a security guard and had previous experience in the construction, warehouse, and retail industries.
Byrd died on January 11, 2025.
