The Libertarian Party of California maintains a Platform consisting of a number of planks which state the LPC's positions on specific issues. As with the National Platform, this Platform is amended by action of a convention, through the addition, deletion, or replacement of planks; planks which are not modified continue in effect from year to year.

Platform History

Notes

  1. All planks deleted by action of California Convention 2019. Platform reinstated by Libertarian Party of California Judicial Committee in the California Judicial Committee May 2019 Appeal of Convention Action Regarding Platform. This led to the formation of the Reform Caucus of California in June of 2019, which provided a resolution for the various county organizations to sign onto, which repudiated the Judicial Committee's decision and led to the county organizations not accepting the 2018 Platform. Currently, this resolution has been signed by the Libertarian Party of Fresno County (June 13, 2019), the Libertarian Party of Kings County (June 14, 2019), and the Libertarian Party of Solano County (June 15, 2019).
