For most of its history, the Libertarian Party of California maintained a Platform consisting of a number of planks which stated the LPC's positions on specific issues. As with the National Platform, this Platform was amended by action of a convention, through the addition, deletion, or replacement of planks; planks which were not modified continued in effect from year to year.

The state Platform was eliminated at the 2022 convention by an amendment to the bylaws which states that the national Platform serves as the LPC's platform.
