Prior to 2021, the Libertarian Party of Washington had 8 regional representatives<ref>https://lpwa.org/leadership/</ref>, each serving as a Party Officer. Alternates served as replacement Representatives in the event of a Representative vacancy. Regional Representatives were elected in odd numbered years and serve two year terms.<ref>https://lpwa.org/activist-resources/constitution-and-bylaws/</ref>
 
At the 2021 Cascade Liberty Summit in Port Orchard, convention delegates approved a bylaws amendment<ref>https://lpwa.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/2021_Convention_Booklet_1.pdf</ref> to change the representative portion of the State Executive Committee to all at-large seats, elected via a proportional voting system. In 2024, the number of seats was amended to change between 4-8 depending on active membership and elected by approval voting.

The Libertarian Party of Washington ("LPWA" in party bylaws[1]) is the Washington affiliate of the Libertarian Party. It was affiliated 11/24/73 at the LNC Meeting 24 November 1973 as per Document:LP News 1974 January-February Issue 18.

Representatives

Prior to 2021, the Libertarian Party of Washington had 8 regional representatives[2], each serving as a Party Officer. Alternates served as replacement Representatives in the event of a Representative vacancy. Regional Representatives were elected in odd numbered years and serve two year terms.[3]

At the 2021 Cascade Liberty Summit in Port Orchard, convention delegates approved a bylaws amendment[4] to change the representative portion of the State Executive Committee to all at-large seats, elected via a proportional voting system. In 2024, the number of seats was amended to change between 4-8 depending on active membership and elected by approval voting.
