John J. "Jack" Hickey was one of three Libertarians who ran for Governor of California in 2003 in a special election associated with the recall of Gray Davis. He also ran for State Senate in 2000. In 2002 he was elected to the Board of the Sequoia Health Care District in San Mateo County.
