History
There was a Brooklyn Borough Libertarian Party in the early 1970s. A Libertarian Party in Kings County was formed on October 16, 1999 under the leadership of Matt Siegel, but after a couple of years of inactivity, it was dechartered by the State Committee on June 23, 2001.
