 Libertarians have been sporadically active throughout the history of the Libertarian Party in Kings County.  There is limited historical documentation available about the Libertarian Party of Kings County prior to its most recent reactivation, which was guided by [[Kenneth Brent Olsen]].

In 2016, a Libertarian, [[Kalish Morrow]], ran for the office of Hanford City Council, District B.  She ran again in 2020, with [[Kenneth Brent Olsen]] as her Campaign Manager.  She won the election.  Following this, Hanford Councilman from District D [[Francisco Ramirez]] became a Libertarian, as did 2018 Hanford City Council, District E candidate [[Cheyne Strawn]].
