:*The page was getting long, so I was dividing it into multiple pages. There should also be a note of whether or not blank votes are counted in the percentage. The page title is misleading, stating there are election results and may not include those who ran a campaign and didn't get on the ballot, were endorsed and ran a campaign, or ran a write-in campaign. Since the lists were solely a list of Libertarian candidates, it seems like it was supposed to include all Libertarian candidates. A list with the purpose of listing election results should list the Libertarian candidates' results as well. I presumed the list was for Libertarian candidates only. :::I don't agree that the page was particularly long. At its peak of 20,314 bytes it was the 127th longest page on lpedia, and it could have been shortened by several thousand bytes just by removing the partial sorting of candidates by year at the end.
:::There is a note on excluding blank and void votes. It's on the talk page. It's been there for a couple of months.
:::I don't know what you mean about the page title being misleading. A page on election results is for election results. Why would anyone think it would include people who had no election results? I don't understand why people without election results were put on that page in the first place. They were candidates and can go on a page listing candidates, but not having election results, they ought not to be on a page whose purpose is reporting election results. I don't know why you put them there.
:::And, I'm sorry, but I don't understand any of what you wrote here:

:::A Libertarian Party candidates list should include all Libertarian Party candidates, whether they were on the ballot or not, whether anyone cast a ballot for them or not. It ought not include Republican candidates. A list of Libertarian Party election results should include the election results of Libertarian Party candidates who have election results. It should not include Libertarian Party candidates who do not have election results, or the election results of Republican Party candidates.[[User:AJPEG|AJPEG]] ([[User talk:AJPEG|talk]]) 19:26, 15 July 2017 (CDT) |
