Kenneth Martin Mattes (b. 26 Nov. 1979) is a precinct committeeman and chapter secretary for McHenry County Libertarians in northern Illinois. Mattes is a transportation entrepreneur in the same-day delivery industry and an FAA licensed commercial drone pilot.

Ken was introduced to libertarianism by his late friend Brian who had found the Neal Boortz Show on the radio by accident. Boortz later described a call to the show from Ken as "serendipitous" when Ken asked Neal what he thought of Gary Johnson, whom Neal was about to mention he had booked as a guest.

Ken was a volunteer supporter of Johnson in 2016, collecting signatures without being asked. He officially joined the Libertarian party in 2017 and again collected signatures in 2018 and 2020. When McHenry County began to recognize LP as a major party, Ken stepped forward to become a precinct committeeman and quickly became chapter secretary as well.

Ken is an active supporter of The Red Cross (via frequent blood donations) and volunteers for the McHenry County Emergency Management Agency. He enjoys bowling and disc golf.
