Bob Waldrop
Bob Waldrop is a former state chair of the Utah Libertarian Party. In addition to serving as state chair, he has been a candidate for state legislature, was a primary organizer of the 1993 National Convention, and was appointed to Utah's Governor's Advisory Board on Aids.
Originally from Oklahoma, Waldrop returned to his home state in the mid-90s where he was involved with the successful 1996 OKLP ballot access petition drive. He dropped out of partisan politics but remained active in many other areas, such as promoting the permaculture movement, creating the Oklahoma Food Cooperative, and founding the Oscar Romero Catholic Worker House. He has been a recipient of the Earth Care Award by the Oklahoma Chapter of the Sierra Club and the Green Shield Award by the Oklahoma Sustainability Network.
