Positions

The LPRC serves the following purposes:

• Serving as a local affiliate of the Libertarian Party of North Carolina (LPNC)
• Maintaining a platform of key issues in Rockingham County and a LPRC stance on those issues as a guide for Libertarian political candidates and office-holders within Rockingham County
• Disseminating libertarian ideas while leading by example in our community
• Encouraging Members to seek political offices throughout Rockingham County as well as the state of North Carolina, and nominating candidates to endorse during elections for those offices
• Recognizing and promoting local libertarian organizations throughout Rockingham County
• Endorsing and supporting libertarian candidates running for offices
• Protect the Constitution, reduce inefficient government spending, taxes and debt
