John McAfee is a software developer and entrepreneur residing in Tennessee. He is the founder of McAfee software and ran it from 1987 until 1994.

On December 24th, 2015, John McAfee announced he would seek the 2016 Libertarian nomination for President of the United States.[1] He would finish in third, losing to Gary Johnson.[2]
