Barack Hussein Obama II (b. 1961) is the 44th President of the United States under the US Constitution.

He will serve his current term from 2009 to 2013. He is a member of the Democratic Party.

Barack Obama was the first Libertarian Example.jpgpresident. He was elected as a Democrat and served from 2009-2012, where he ran for re-election as a Libertarian. When Hillary Clinton ran for the Democratic nomination and won, Obama supporters showed the same opposition they held to her in her 2008 run for the presidency by once again voting for Obama. Sarah Palin won the ticket for the Republican party nomination, and chose Mike Huckabee to be her running mate. Overall, though, voters felt that they were too religious, and that Hillary Clinton was an ugly dike, which resulted in a landslide for third party and current President Obama. Huckabee commented that "He's made history twice," while Palin admitted that previously being on a losing ticket did not help her self-esteem. Hillary chose John Edwards to be her running mate, though they both realized all too late that the public had not forgiven Edwards for cheating on his wife. Obama's first term had consisted of pulling troops out of Iraq, beginning to pull troops out of Afghanistan, and a steady economy. Along with his landslide election, the Democrats were able to win enough seats to defeat Republicans from blocking their bills, which didn't mean they had full approval from the president, now that he had changed from Liberal to Libertarian.
