My name is Alex Peak.  I am a Liberal/Libertarian hybrid.  I like to think of myself as a "small-government Liberal", or a [[Classical Liberal]].  In [[2004]], I voted for [[Michael Badnarik]].  This was my first [[election]].  I'm also involved with the [[College Libertarians of Towson]] here in [[Towson University]], [[Maryland]].

I plan to run for [[Baltimore County Council]] as a [[Democratic Party|Democrat]] in [[2010]], and for either the [[Maryland Senate]] or [[Maryland House of Delegates]] in [[2018]].  I hope to try to do with the Democratic Party what [[Ron Paul]] is doing with the [[Republican Party]]
 
I'm also trying to "get my name out there" by doing work as a free-lance author.  An article I wrote, titled "Conservative Socialism," was included on LewRockwell.com, and can be seen [http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig6/peak1.html here].
