Brian Waddell
Brian William Waddell is an American writer, photographer, Libertarian Party activist. He was Vice-Chair of the Libertarian Party of New York, having from April 2016 to February 2019. He was the 2017 Libertarian Party Candidate for Manhattan Borough President. In 2018, he was appointed LPNY Press Secretary.

2016 Alex Merced for U.S. Senate Campaign
Brian Waddell Started as the communications director for Alex Merced's U.S. Senate campaign, then later was promoted to campaign manager. He helped coordinate most of the campaign events and trips. Brian proved his dedication to the campaign when during an auction at a Syracuse campaign stop he auctioned off the shirt off his back for several hundred dollars which was live-streamed from the Liberty Memes Facebook page.
2017 Campaign for Manhattan Borough President
In 2017, Brian went from campaign manager to candidate as he runs to become the next Borough President of Manhattan. His platform focuses on the lack of power of the office and the waste of its 4 million dollar budget, which can be saved if the office of Borough President was abolished.
2018 Larry Sharpe for Governor Campaign
In 2017, Waddell became the Campaign Manager for Larry Sharpe's gubernatorial campaign. He held the position until Kari Bittner took over in October 2018.
