Rich Purtell
Richard "Rich" Purtell is a Libertarian Party activist, officer, and candidate. He is current a Member-At-Large of the the Libertarian Party of New York Executive Committee. He previously served as Political Director from 2018 to 2019. He is also the founded of the Tioga County Libertarian Party, in which he also served as Secretary and State Representative. Purtell has run several political campigns, including State Senate (2015), State Assembly (2016), and twice for Owego Town Council (2017 and 2019). He has written several editorials on libertarian polices and ideas for local publications.
