National Convention 1996
The 1996 Libertarian National Convention was held on the first weekend in July in Washington, DC. at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The theme for this convention was "Declare Your Independence."

Presidential and Vice-Presidential Ticket Nominations
Harry Browne won the presidential nomination.
Jo Jorgensen was chosen as the vice-presidential candidate.
