Gary Reams was the 2001 Libertarian candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia. He ran solely on the cannabis issue, calling his campaign the "Reams Reeferendum." He won double-digit returns in Charlottesville, Virginia, home of the University of Virginia.
