Michael Rebmann (August 18, 1957—August 15, 2024) was a Libertarian Party activist from New York, who served on the Libertarian Party of New York State Committee from 2021 until his death in 2024. He enjoyed camping and nature photography, and hoped that one day, New York will pivot from being one of the most unfree states, to the freest.
Activism
Rebmann previously served as the Treasurer of the Erie County Libertarian Party from 2022 to 2023. He is an organizer for the New York State Mises Caucus, and regularly posts on their social media. Additionally, he is a member of the Libertarian Party of New York's Platform and Rules Committees, as well as the State Committee. He currently serves as the campaign manager for Charles Roggen for Akron Town Trustee and Wendi Szabo for the Royalton Town Council.
