Steven J. Alexander was a California activist who served as a member of the LNC. He resigned in protest of the actions taken in December 1992 in support of proposals by the "Atlanta group", and became the leader of PLEDGE, a group working against those proposals.

He received the Karl Bray Award in 1991.
