Michael R. Lopez joined the Libertarian Party in 2017 after voting for Gary Johnson. Since then, he has served as a delegate from Ohio to the 2020, 2022, and 2024 Libertarian National Conventions. In July 2023 he was elected as an At-Large member of the Libertarian Party of Montgomery County, Ohio's executive committee to fill a vacancy. [1] In 2024, he was elected Secretary of the same committee,[2] and to the Libertarian Party of Ohio's Central Committee[3]. At the organizational meeting of the 2024 LPO CentCom, he was elected as an At-Large member of the Libertarian Party of Ohio's Executive Committee.
Michael Lopez is a founding member of the Classical Liberal Caucus and the Twitter account manager. In 2024, he was elected Vice Chair to fill a vacancy.[4]
