The Fox Valley Libertarian Party is an affiliate of the Libertarian Party of Illinois. It is an award-winning group of libertarian activists who have been actively defending liberty in Kane & McHenry Counties, and the surrounding area, since 1995. The McHenry County Libertarian Party is a spin-off of the Fox Valley Libertarian Party which was formed in 2017 and now enjoys established party status.
