James "Jim" Rosenbeck is a Libertarian Party activist and current Vice Chair of the Libertarian Party of New York, having been elected in 2015. He is also a 2017 candidate for Batavia City Council alongside Mark Potwora and Lisa Whitehead.

Rosenbeck earned a Master of Science degree in Educational Counseling from SUNY Brockport in 1981. He is a retired from his position as Counseling Department Chairperson at Pembroke High School in Genesee County and now devotes much of his time to Libertarian Party activism.

Rosenbeck is a lifetime member of the national Libertarian Party and is a two-time candidate for local office in the City of Batavia. Jim and his wife (Deborah Kerr Rosenbeck) are also very involved in the Genesee County Chapter of the LPNY. He is currently serving his third term as Vice Chair. He is Chairman of the LPNY Chapter Development Committee and is passionate about facilitating the development of new chapters in the state.

In 2018, he declared his candidacy for LPNY State Chair.
