A State Chair is the head of a particular states Libertarian Party. Often times, the chair is elected every 2 or 4 years at a Libertarian Party State Convention. The chair often serves several roles in the party such as being the chief spokesperson for that state and recruiting candidates for office. In the case that there is no Executive Director for the state, the chair often carries out a directors duties as well.
