Prior Affiliation
Maine had been part of this region, but due to lack of representation at the 2006 national convention, it became orphaned.
2008 Changes
Region 7 (less Massachusetts, plus Maine) and Region 5 mereged at the 2008 national convention to form a super region where the former Region 7 states choose one representative and alternate, and the former Region 5 states do the same.
The new super region has yet to be given a number. The former region 7 will be the North portion and the former Region 5 will be the South portion of the region.
