Clyde Harold Gibson III served as the Secretary of the Libertarian Party of Iowa between 2021-2024 and held other State and County Libertarian positions. He has been a registered libertarian since 2012.

He ran for Iowa State House District 82 as a Libertarian in 2022, receiving ~25% of the Votes (2,983) in a 2-way race against incumbent Bobby Kaufmann (R). During this race, he also won the majority vote in a precinct within West Liberty, Iowa. (WL2)
