Chris Azzaro served as the Founder and Executive Director of the Libertarian Victory Fund (LVF) from December 2000 to July of 2003. Chris Azzaro served as the Founder and Executive Director of the Libertarian Victory Fund (LVF) from December 2000 to July of 2003. The LVF was created to target and support Libertarian campaigns in local winnable races. During this time the political action committee assisted more than 20 Libertarians in winning elections for local offices, and touted a 78% winning percentage in it's targeted Races.

He was also a successful campaign manager. Most notably he ran the 2000 James Dan campaign for State Assembly. In a 2-way race against an incumbent Democrat, in a district with 80% registered Democrats, the campaign achieved 46% of the vote. This percentage held the record as the highest for a Libertarian in a state legislative campaign for many years. The margin of victory was roughly 200 votes.

Chris Azzaro was also the Executive Director of Mayor Art Olivier's winning campaign for the LP Vice presidential nomination in 2000.

Azzaro served in public office twice. From 2000-2002 he was the vice chair of the North Las Vegas Citizens Advisory Board. He was also appointed to the Monongailia County MPO Board and served as vice chair from 2014-2016. He was known for winning small but significant victories for liberty in these positions on issues such as code enforcement and government waste.

In 2008 Chris Azzaro was a Ron Paul delegate to the West Virginia Presidential Nominating Convention.
