Patri Friedman is the son of David Friedman and grandson of Milton Friedman.
Along with Peter Thiel, Friedman founded The Seasteading Institute, an organization exploring and promoting the development of privatized cities on the ocean. [1] Thiel later backed Friedman's Pronomos Capital, exploring the same concept on land. [2]
