Christopher Thrasher is a Libertarian Political Consultant and activist.
Thrasher has served on the LNC Ballot Access Committee (2016-2017, 2018-2020), the Bylaws and Rules Committee (2019-2020), and currently serves as the Chair of the Convention Voting Process Committee.
He served as Lincoln Chafee's 2020 campaign manager,[1], and he is the principal of Ballot Access Marketing, LLC.[2]
In 2016, Thrasher served as the Director of Ballot Access for the Johnson/Weld campaign, achieving 50 state + DC ballot access for a Libertarian Party Presidential candidate for the first time since 1996.
He previously served as senior staff for the Libertarian presidential campaigns of Senator Mike Gravel (2008), Gov. Gary Johnson (2012), and John McAfee (2016).[2]
At the 2018 National Convention, he was a candidate for National Chair, finishing third behind Nicholas Sarwark and Joshua Smith.
Thrasher has attended 5 Libertarian National Conventions since 2008, as a delegate from the Libertarian Party of North Carolina, the New Jersey Libertarian Party, the Libertarian Party of California, the Libertarian Party of Connecticut, and the Libertarian Party of Illinois, respectively.
Thrasher currently lives in Omaha, Nebraska, where he attends Creighton University School of Law, and is a member of the Libertarian Party of Nebraska.
