Elizabeth Holmes Hanes is a Libertarian activist in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was elected Vice-Chair of the Libertarian Party of New Mexico in April 2017. Later that month Robert "Burly" Cain, then Chair of the Libertarian Party of New Mexico, resigned due to reasons of employment. In late April 2017, Elizabeth assumed the role of Chair. She later resigned in January 2018. During her tenure, the Party earned major party status.
