The committee was restructured on December 4, 2016, and the [[Libertarian Party of New York IT Committee|IT Committee]] was split off from the committee to be chaired by [[Christopher Edes]] while [[Andrew Kolstee]] chaired the renamed committee that became known as the '''Communications Committee.'''
