James "Strangelv" Gholston (b. 1970) is ex-military and has run for office a few times, including Denton City Council and the House of Representatives. He has been County Chair twice and is active in SIGLIB. James has represented state senate district 30 on the State Libertarian Executive Committee in Texas since 2001.
James was a delegate to the 2002, 2008, and 2010 Libertarian National Conventions and a delegate to the 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2012 Texas LP conventions.
