David Koch (1940 - ), is a member of the wealthy Koch family. In 1980, he pledged $500,000 of his personal funds to the Libertarian campaign, and won selection as the vice presidential running mate of Edward Clark. The ticket received over 900,000 votes nationwide, and 1% of the popular vote.
