There is more than one Gary Johnson in Libertarian circles.  For the 2012 and 2016 U. S. Presidential nominee, see Gary E. Johnson.

Gary Johnson has served multiple terms on the Libertarian National Committee since 1983 and the Texas SLEC.  He has run as the LP nominee for U. S. Senate in Texas in 1990.  He has also served with the Travis County Libertarian Party.  He currently serves as the SLEC secretary.
