Jeff Daiell is a long-time Texas Libertarian activist, writer, and speaker. He has run for office four times, has served many times on the Texas SLEC, and has served as county chair. He holds the record for most votes for an LP of Texas gubernatorial nominee (over 129K), and the LPT record for highest percentage in a gubernatorial race. He is once again seeking the LPT nomination for Governor.
The campaign has a staff, but is seeking individuals to fill other positions. Positions filled so far: Treasurer, Campaign Manager, Scheduler, Strategy Coordinator, Education Advisor, Website Manager, IT Director, Research Director, Labor Outreach Director, and campaign coordinators in two State Senate districts and three counties. The campaign needs a fundraiser, volunteer coordinator, county coordinators, State Senate district coordinators, etc.
Jeff has already campaigned in at least 21 counties, garnered media coverage, and is soliciting contributions. There is no statutory limit on contributions to a State race in Texas. Five radio commercials have been produced.
Jeff is 57 and lives in Houston. He is married and has three children and three grandchildren. A 1973 graduate of Centenary College (B.A. in Government), he works for a large company and also has his own business, Jeff Daiell Communications. His campaign website is www.JeffDaiell.com. He has a presence on Facebook (both a personal page and two groups devoted to the campaign), MySpace, and Twitter (WeAreTexans).
