Wes Benedict presently serves as national executive director for the Libertarian Party. He has previously served as executive director for the Libertarian Party of Texas from 2004 through 2008 and as the Region 6 representative on the LNC for the 2006-2008 term. He has also served as a Austin area activist, Travis County chair, and was one of the main people behind the Texas LP's successful 2004 signature drive to keep the state party on the ballot.
