He is survived by his parents, Mark and Hella, Fargo; a brother, Karl, Fargo; a sister, Loraine (Joseph) Fleeman, Hiddenite, NC; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. | |||

David Helfter (David Michael Helfter) was born June 7, 1968, in Heidelberg, Germany, to Mark and Hella (Dietrich) Helfter. He grew up in Fargo, ND, and graduated from the Division of Independent Study. David then attended Interstate Business College and graduated with a degree in business administration.
David worked as a salesman and office manager for Sheyenne Appliance, West Fargo, ND. He returned to school and currently was a student at Minnesota State University, Moorhead, MN, majoring in business administration and political science. As a student he cofounded Friends of Democracy, acted as the contact person for the Libertarian Party of Minnnesota on campus and was active in the Libertarian Party of North Dakota.
