Laura Coker-Garcia presently serves as secretary of the Libertarian Party of Texas. She is the longtime editor of Gulf Coast Liberty and has recently served as editor of Lone Star Liberty, the state party newsletter.
She was one of the main people involved with the 2004 ballot access renewal effort that kept the LP on the ballot in Texas after the party's statewide candidates failed to get enough votes for automatic renewal of ballot status.
