Michael Dixon is a libertarian political activist and former National Chair of the U.S. Libertarian Party. A management consultant, Dixon was elected to the position of national chair on the first ballot by delegates to the 2004 Libertarian National Convention in Atlanta.

Dixon had previously served as a member of the Libertarian National Committee (as an at-large member and as a regional representative) since 1998, and as chair of the Illinois Libertarian Party from 1993 to 1994. Dixon currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina; he is married and has a five-year-old son.
