Gene Berkman was the Chair of the Riverside County Libertarian Party circa 1995, 2008, and chair emeritus circa 2011. He was a recipient of the Libertarian Party of California Sons of Liberty Award in 1993. He was a candidate for US House of Representatives 43rd Congressional District in 1992, 1994, and 1996. Gene is the owner of Renaissance Books in Riverside, California.
